  1. What's everyone confused about. Spiderman MCU is in both universes. Kevin Feige said this when they struck that deal again. He said spiderman is special because he's the only mcu character to be able to switch between cinematic universes.

  2. I really don't think Vulture as much of a reason to go after Peter.
He protected Peters identity in jail, and didn't really seem to hold much of a grudge.
He didn't want to kill Peter he just tried to, because he was Spider-Man whom was getting in his way.
    Peter even saved his life.
I feel like it'd be better for Vultur to help Peter now that he's probably on the run.

  3. Screen Rant put a video out that actually makes this all make sense, kind of, and it's not connected to the MCU necessarily.

Michael Keaton is playing an alternative timeline Vulture for Sonys Universe which will help set up the rumored Spider-verse movie, which allows the same actor to play the same character in two different universes. It could be how Mysterio will still be part of the Sinister Six, with MCUs version being killed off, but Sonys version still existing.

This could also be possibly be in a third universe where Venom could exist, along with all the future Sony-verse movies, which would also make the Spiderman poster make sense, where Peter had a suit similar to Sam Raimi's. But this is all speculation, indeed confusing times.

  4. "Morbius Is Part of the MCU With Spider-Man and Vulture"… uhm no, In any case, the MCU is part of the Sony-Spiderman-thing. All the Spiderman characters belong to Sony so, is like that.
Whenever Ironman, or Happy or Fury comes to a Spiderman relationated movie, they are coming, not the other way. When Spiderman went to Civil War, Infinity or Endgame, Spidey is crossing to the MCU.

  5. The fact they're already showing their hand when it comes to the MCU is very promising.

For one, rumor has it…Holland did shoot a cameo for Venom, but it was scrapped once Marvel saw the finished product…they apparently weren't happy.

I liked Venom, but mostly for Hardy's performance…not much else. So, the fact Marvel seems to be throwing in kinda early tells me this movie might actually be decent.

  7. @1:14 Classic case of IGN not doing research before they post their damn video up. Don't take this video as fact guys. We still don't know what universe this movie takes place in. The trailer is being cheeky on purpose. Gotta wait for the confirmation from Papa Feige himself.
